1. Introduction

DhikrApp respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we may collect when you use DhikrApp, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices available to you.

By using DhikrApp, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, you should stop using the app or request deletion of your account and related data.

2. Information We May Collect

Depending on how you use DhikrApp, we may collect or process the following information:

Account information

Name, username, email address, encrypted password, preferred language, and profile photo if you choose to upload one.

User content

Text posts, likes, follows, reports, profile information, and other content you submit inside the app.

Dhikr and Tasbeeh statistics

Tasbeeh counts, daily activity, last 7 days, last 30 days, and total statistics used to show your progress and leaderboards.

Device and usage information

General technical information such as device type, operating system, app language, connection status, crash or error logs, and technical identifiers needed to operate and improve the app.

Advertising and subscriptions

DhikrApp may use Google AdMob to show ads and Google Play Billing to manage optional PRO subscriptions. Google may process data related to ads or purchases according to its own policies.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, DhikrApp may use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send app-related notifications. A device notification token may be used for this purpose.

3. How We Use Information

To create and manage your account, login, and account security.
To save your Dhikr and Tasbeeh statistics and show daily, weekly, monthly, and total progress.
To display posts, likes, follows, reports, user profiles, and community features.
To provide optional PRO features, remove ads for eligible users, and manage subscriptions.
To improve performance, fix bugs, prevent abuse, and protect users.
To personalize the app experience based on your language preference and settings.
To send notifications when you choose to enable them.

4. Sharing Information With Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may share or process information with service providers that are necessary to operate DhikrApp, including:

Google Play Billing for subscriptions and in-app purchases.
Google AdMob for ads and ad performance measurement.
Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications when enabled.
Hosting, database, and infrastructure providers used to store accounts, content, statistics, and app data.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to respond to harmful or illegal activity.

5. Advertising

DhikrApp may contain ads provided by Google AdMob. Google and its partners may use device identifiers or usage data to show ads and measure performance according to Google’s policies and your device/account settings.

Users with an active PRO subscription may not see ads inside the app depending on their subscription status.

6. PRO Subscriptions

DhikrApp offers an optional PRO membership through Google Play Billing. Payments and subscription management are processed by Google Play. We do not store your full payment card details or complete payment information on our servers.

7. Files and Images

DhikrApp may allow you to upload a profile photo. The image is used to display your profile inside the app. DhikrApp does not require broad access to all files on your device; any image selection is done with your permission through the device’s file or image picker.

8. Cookies and Local Storage

DhikrApp may use cookies or local storage to keep you logged in, remember your language preference, maintain session state, and improve the experience inside the app.

9. Data Retention

We keep account information, posts, reports, and Tasbeeh statistics for as long as your account is active or as long as needed to provide the service, prevent abuse, comply with legal requirements, or resolve disputes. Deleted or violating content may be removed or hidden according to app rules.

Please send your request from the email address linked to your account when possible and include your username. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable time, while retaining information that may be required for legal, security, or abuse-prevention purposes.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, such as encrypted passwords, HTTPS, restricted admin access, and measures designed to prevent unauthorized access. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children’s Privacy

DhikrApp is not directed to children under 13 years old. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under the allowed age without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete that information.

13. User-Generated Content and Reports

DhikrApp may include posts and content written by users. Users are responsible for the content they publish. We provide reporting tools for inappropriate posts or profiles, and we may review reports and take appropriate action.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of DhikrApp after changes means you accept the updated policy.
